Museum of the American Revolution

George Washington Among His Troops

The Museum of the American Revolution in Philadeplia, Pennsylvania presented a limited run of a newly discovered 235-year-old, seven-foot panoramic painting that offers an invaluable glimpse into the Revolutionary War, a time before the invention of photography. The sweeping watercolor painting of a 1782 Continental Army encampment contains the only known wartime depiction of General Washington’s headquarters tent, which is dramatically presented at the Museum. The exhibit was created with Mila-wall® Series 100.

An inspirational collaboration between the Museum of the American Revolution and
MBA Mila-wall®. With the help of our Mila-wall® Series 100 exhibit, the newly discovered watercolor painting of a 1782 Continental Army encampment was presented in the Philadelphia museum.
